Here at Pulmonary Associates of St. Augustine we are concerned with the safety of our patients and staff during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The following are some of the practices we have put in place to promote a safe environment for our patients and employees:
ALL patients coming into the office must adhere to CDC recommended precautions which include the following:
Wearing of a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth: While this may be uncomfortable for some people, it is imperative that we maintain this policy as even vaccinated people may pass the virus on to those that are not vaccinated.
Maintaining six feet of social distance: We understand that within the doctors office there are times when this will not be possible between you and your healthcare providers. Please respect your providers space, and allow them to choose when and where this rule must be violated to provide your care.
Sanitizing hands frequently: Basic hand washing and disinfecting is always a good habit but even more important during a pandemic. We will provide you with ample opportunities to sanitize your hands while in the office.
Strict following of the above rules will be enforced at all times to promote a safe and healthy experience for both the patients and the office staff.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH OUR REQUIREMENTS, WE WILL KINDLY ASK YOU TO RESCHEDULE A TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENT. OUR RULES ARE ONLY MEANT TO HELP KEEP PEOPLE AS SAFE AND HEALTHY AS POSSIBLE.
